I can remmeber, in all that I have tried it is workig well maybe it will be good to attach to some projects, in the other side it has been great for flow chart of process that are required for project design and the most benefical is that it is very friendly

Our goal is to conduct level 1, 2 & 3 process maps for our organization. This has been identified as a huge gap as we try to navigate system updates. Having a detailed process map that visually shows how information is flowing through multiple systems and processes has allowed us to efficiently get the right levels of engagement from our leaders and demonstrate the sheer volume of interdependencies for our employees as they think through their processes.
  • Clean and easy to navigate on a desktop
  • Symbols and shapes are simple & easy to edit
  • Group work features allows free thinking as well as focused collaboration
  • The software is intuitive for new people while remaining powerful for more experienced folks
  • As always with these kinds of software's, there is opportunity to allow for connections to other software's like excel or Smartsheet
  • I would like to see some sort of earmarking for certain symbols to allow for pulling something like (in our case) all 'communications sent' from multiple boards into one view
  • I think video/ written tutorials to help guide a user to a useful template along with how to use/facilitate a session with it would be helpful.
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is particularly good at approaching a ambiguous body of work with a large group of people. This is especially true when the person building the template and facilitating the meeting has a comprehensive understanding of the big picture. It is less great at managing any 'next steps' coming out of those collaborative meetings. This can create some friction as the person that should be building this is not necessarily the person that should be managing the take aways from the session. In general I like to use it to figure out 'what to do' and then use other, more focused, softwares to figure out how and when we are going to do it.

Lucidspark is currently being used in one department at this time. It addresses the problem of brainstorming in real-time within a remote setting. It also eliminates having to take the extra step to digitize what would have been on post-it notes. The data is saved from the exercise and can be applied to drive results straight away.
  • User friendly.
  • Tutorials.
  • Wide variety of tools.
  • Case studies.
  • Certification programs.
  • More demos on usage.
It is great for brainstorming but less appropriate for process mapping.

Lucidchart is an online diagramming software. It helps us present workflows and diagrams to stakeholders within our company. It is super easy to use, has collaborative features for remote or global teams, and offers plenty of templates for us to choose from to make it easy to dive right in.
  • Intuitive user interface
  • Adequate shapes and templates
  • Integrates well with other apps and services
  • Real-Time Collaboration
  • Pricing - No options for a one-time purchase like Microsoft's Visio
We've used Lucidchart in a variety of ways over the years. We've used it for a simple mind map for brainstorming sessions, various organizational charts and primarily use it for new workflow scenarios for our software. It is an exceptional diagramming software that is effective at helping us showcase our ideas. It helps others visualize what we are thinking or discussing and the templates give us a jump ahead so we can get our diagrams moving right away.

I use Lucidchart for Architecture Diagrams, Business Process Flow diagram, and Organization Charts. As a consultant the scope of the use cases can vary client to client, however, I find that Lucidchart always serves my diagramming needs. It is easy to use while engaging with the clients and making changes on the fly.
  • Collaborating with other users in one workspace
  • Providing great templates as a foundation to build a use case diagram/chart
  • Importing logos, external images/videos/audio.
  • Integrating 3rd party apps to sync data real-time in charts/diagrams.
  • The grouping/ungroup functionality could be a bit more streamlined or intuitive
  • Enable users to interact and navigate with just keyboard shortcuts
  • Enable more functionality from the right-click dropdown menu
Lucidchart is well suited for any type of large scale diagramming, chart creation, sceanario involving more than 20+ shapes/nodes. Lucidchart is appropriate in any scenario where visual representation is needed to convey or present abstract concepts or future state ideas yet to be created.

In my opinion, a scenario where Lucidchart is less appropriate is when the experience or scenario requires hand drawn or digital art capabilities, such as various brush styles for different texturing. Lucidchart may be able to be the canvas for such a scenario, but I think it's less appropriate.

I most frequently use LucidChart to create process flows, and structural diagrams. I've found that Lucidchart provides a wide variety of templates so that, when I begin a diagram, I have a good start that reduces the amount of time it takes me to begin my work. The status field is helpful, but I feel it would be more helpful if it provided more customizability.
  • Start diagram from a template
  • Categorize charts by status
  • Collaborate with coworkers
  • More customizable statuses
  • More icons are always better
  • More templates is always better
I have found Lucidchart is most helpful in its capacity to diagram process flows, which the primary reason I use the application. Using a template as a starting point, I am able to quickly start diagramming, without having to do a lot of "housekeeping" tasks first. I have not found any cases where the app is inappropriate.

I create roadmaps, flowchart and other types of diagrams to support our software development efforts
  • Diagrams (obviously)
  • Flowcharts
  • Timelines
  • I really miss an option to share the diagram with users that do not have an account
  • Also anonymous access would be good to have (where someone can just enter his name which is optional) and start diagramming
  • Proper desktop app to work without internet access is also needed

- Brainstorming
-Async visual collaboration
- Visual facilitation

Lucidchart is used by engineering departments to create flow charts of the product and ease automation needs, as well as create testing workflows for the company. Lucidchart was initially used to create automated pipeline diagrams and helped to achieve alignment between all engineering departments and teams. Great product that was discovered by accident through a mobile app and is now used by all engineering departments.
  • Ease of navigation within the working chart.
  • Working in a team and collaborating.
  • Easy export of finished charts and sharing them.
  • Have more templates for product flowcharts.
  • Selecting elements on working flowchart and not including connecting lines.
  • Increasing elements border line (bold border lines).
Lucidchart is great for creating workflows for an existing product or when designing new systems and pipelines. It can be used in a wide range of applications, but we mainly use it for automated test coverage flows of the product, which can't be envisioned without a chart that outlines all the parts of the application, That way, it's easier for us to not miss a use case or test case and increase coverage of the application.

Lucidchart's intelligent workflow technology makes it easy for us to create process flows for our customer care team's standard operating procedures, which are both easy to understand and visually appealing for our new hires, as well as existing employees. This saves time and gives us the ability to create procedures quickly, while still ensuring they are clear.
  • Easy to customize shapes for diagrams to match the user's brand strategy.
  • Download process flows in various formats based on user's needs.
  • Work with your projects anytime, anywhere - no need to worry about having to download bulky applications.
  • Bandwidth - when working with complex workflows spanning multiple shapes and layers, the page tends to slow down and sometimes crash.
  • Zooming in & out - when a workflow is spread out over multiple pages, the view can become small even with a large screen.
  • Pricing - newly introduced monthly/annual pricing schemes are not as good as previous quarterly payment models.
Lucidchart is a powerful workflow builder particularly useful to huge organizations implementing new and updated process flows across multiple regions, demographics, and departments. Creating easy-to-understand and visually appealing diagrams, the software's end products surely would appeal to a variety of users, from newly hired employees getting acclimated with the process to existing teams and leadership groups.

Helping organize ideas and people. Currently using it for various projects and programs within the company. Organizing architectural solutions and implementation ideas. Collaborating with X-functional groups and team members and managing chain of thoughts in designing systems, products, and services. Sharing diagrams and allowing other team members to simultaneously participate in the same diagrams.
  • Drawing diagrams.
  • Sharing and collaborating across the organization.
  • Organizing the work to be done.
  • More clip arts.
  • Better coordination within the tool.
  • Better select button and transitioning between objects.
Diagramming and presenting complicated ideas and system integrations in a simple, easy-to-use, and understand tool. Less appropriate with brainstorming and capturing notes.

We use Lucidchart to provide visual representations of process flows between internal teams and clients. We are able to represent these process flows using Lucidchart's standard flowchart shapes, text labels, swim lanes, and color coding, which is more easily digestible for many people than the text-based tables we also use.
  • Swim lanes differentiate stakeholder roles
  • Color-coding of shapes makes flowcharts more clear visually
  • Snap to shapes and grids makes constructing flowcharts easier
  • Selecting, altering, and moving arrows can be tough because some handles overlap with the red dots for creating additional arrows.
  • Not having the 'infinite canvas' option under page settings requires some digging to find
I have found Lucidchart most valuable when creating more complex flowcharts within the swim lane design because it allows me to show not just a process, but also which teams are responsible for which steps in the process and what dependencies exist throughout the flow. I also appreciate being able to show multiple flows after a decision point.

Lucidspark is very collaborative and friendly in the firm and is used for various brainstorming sessions, curation of ideas, and market research. The platform is used across different departments of design expertise and helps in sorting out creative blocks, client needs, and user research synthesis. Templates and different tools provided in the same are being utilised for user-friendly client presentations as well.
  • Sorting of category wise ideations.
  • Colour coding notes and information.
  • User friendly collaboration with teammates across boards.
  • Dots in background are large enough to distract the user while zooming on boards.
  • File size limit can be extended for free version for the user to test it to understand its potential.
  • Lack of user friendly desktop application.
Lucidspark comes in handy when other collaborative alternatives become less optimised for desktop use. It is well suited for sorting large number of ideation categories with varied colours through its creative templates and tools. It becomes less suitable when involving a good integration with other applications and introduce to new users due to size limitations and UI.

Hybrid working- Collaborative documents meant the team and use at the same time as we are working remotely. Lucidspark makes it easy to loop in vendors and others as well. I have most recently used Lucidspark for a website sitemap development project as we lay out our navigation, content blocks, and recurring content across our website revamp. Using Lucidspark has increased my team's productivity to iterate on system designs, proposed layouts, and our overall decision-making process that much fast with a higher caliber of informed thought thanks to this virtual whiteboard. Stakeholder mapping- Aids in visualizing a complex issue and is great to have all the information in one document. We utilize it in our organization to create flow charts and ER diagrams to better understand the architectural flow.
  • It mocks iPhone and Android applications
  • Make interactive mock-ups and prototypes.
  • For wire framing websites, there are shape libraries available.
  • It's fantastic for me.
  • Everything is in perfect functioning order.
  • For lucid chart, there should be a desktop app.
I strongly urge my coworkers to try Lucidspark because it is so quick, even the diagrams we create will be rather sophisticated, and we won't be able to rely on Microsoft Word every time.

Lucidspark is designed to help cross-functional and remote teams accomplish more effective brainstorming, collaboration, agile and project planning, customer experience research, strategic analysis, and more. I have been using Lucidspark to quickly capture client requirements and provide visual feedback to ensure validation. Clients love to see the immediate results and with the share features, they can take those results back to their team and continue to add to the conversations. As a team at Neocode, we were also using Lucidspark when we needed to quickly brainstorm and document our sessions. It really addresses the need for an easy-to-use collaboration and validation tool to ensure we get it right the first time! It is an easy-to-learn tool that every business analyst will find useful.
  • Easy to diagram.
  • Easy to share.
  • Easy to validate.
  • I'd like to see more shapes and additional tools specifically for IT.
I've been using Lucidspark for about 7 years as a Business Analyst working on IT projects. The tools are intuitive and easy to learn. It's a fast way to develop wireframes, verify requirements and create a compelling visual environment. I love its full set of shapes, flow diagram objects, and endless whiteboard & its ease of use; it has saved many hundreds of hours and enhanced collaboration with my teams and end-user clients.

I only know about it's use within the Software Engineering department but all software teams use it for UML diagrams (behavioral and structural) which we then put into our documentation and design files in Confluence. It allows us to easily share and collaborate on ideas about design and implementation of software. I am sure other teams make use of Lucidchart but it has an ample library for UML diagrams.
  • Designing projects with diagrams
  • Collaborate on designs
  • Integration with communication apps (Slack, GSuite, Atlassian, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Has solid support teams
  • Performance can be lacking at times (at least it was for me on Linux Firefox)
If you need visuals for anything in your company (flow charts, UML diagrams, a basic roadmap, etc.) then Lucidchart has you covered. They have about as simple of a UI as you can have for software that is meant to let you be creative and cover most industries needs. It is all browser based so you can work on it on any machine with a web browser, although performance can suffer if you select too many shapes at a time. Multiple people or even teams can work on a document at the same time which breeds great collaboration.

I use Lucidchart as a substitute for Visio, Impress, Powerpoint, or even Dia predominantly for embedded graphics. It is a means to an end, not without issues.
  • Scales elements when required.
  • Provides a range of export options.
  • Runs in a browser.
  • Seemingly infinite undo functionality.
  • Cannot trust cropping when exporting, needs to be verified and manually forced.
  • Have not been able to animate my charts yet.
  • Needs deeper library of shapes for technical charts.
  • Needs to update shape libraries when required, should be within 6 months of terms or shapes changing.
  • Does not snap lines so that they are perfectly superimposed.
  • Cannot save projects for sharing.
  • It would be nice where shape libraries are versioned, to be able to update en-masse as if the shapes were referenced or linked.
  • Find and replace fo shapes, not just text.
Lucidchart is useful when you need it now. Less appropriate for situations where re-use or sharing might be required. It does of course require internet access, so it is not suitable for offline use, aircraft, trains. Many of the features are not obvious or are difficult to discern for the first time, such as repositioning an entire work on the canvas.

Lucidchart is used at our company by a handful of managers across different teams. Our primary use case is for mapping out our customer journeys, communications flows, and processes for data management or other tasks that are hard to automate within the company. It gives us a flexible and fast way of drawing these flows, editing them, and publishing them for cross-functional teams.
  • Create process flowcharts
  • Map communication flows
  • Facilitate brainstorming during meetings
  • None
Lucidchart is a flexible tool with built-in functionality that makes a lot of sense. As you're using it, you realize that it automatically does for you exactly what you wanted in that moment. For example, when creating a flowchart with a decision point, the first line you draw coming out of the decision point is automatically green with the word "Yes" on it. The second line is red with the word "No." It's a simple thing that makes it faster than any other tool when diagramming just about anything your organization wants to display visually.

We have interacted with software vendors that have used Lucidspark to demonstrate technical topics to our engineers. We were greatly impressed with how quickly and fluidly a technical demo can be enhanced with Lucidspark. Once you get used to how it works, you can quickly impress others.
  • Multi-user collaboration
  • Clear designs
  • Creation of new boards
  • Sharing your boards with others
  • Integration with Microsoft Teams would be nice
  • More features in the free version
  • More templates would be good
This is well suited for technical discussions that would benefit from visuals. Especially when the visuals need to be created on the fly during an active discussion. Lucidspark may not be needed or useful if communications are primarily over a phone. Lucidspark could be useful for creating visuals for technical documentation.

I have been using Lucidchart for more than 6 years, both while I was working in the Retail/Hospitality sector in NCR and now that I work in Jaggaer as a part of the Development team. So, in that sense, neither of my companies used the software, I have always used it on my own in order to create content for work. That being said, I used it to create various Activity diagrams, flowcharts, and process flows. As an example, I've created a detailed activity diagram which consisted of an incident flow within the Service desk; 3 tiers of support, field service, customer service desk, and automated process. it was a complex activity diagram consisting of more than 60 elements.
  • Large number of predefined charts, diagrams, flows
  • A great repository of various symbols and objects
  • The easiness of using and manipulating objects and shapes. There is a lot of auto-editing and adjusting which the software does for you which saves a lot of your time.
  • Easy way of duplicating shapes.
  • While working with the app everything feels organic and natural. You don't get the clunky/limited feeling which happens with some other similar apps.
  • Text manipulation is probably the area which needs the most improvement. Although it's intuitive, it doesn't always feel so natural and easy when you want to change specific text, especially if the text is within a shape. The best way I can describe it: Sometimes it is cumbersome and not precise.
  • This is a really minor thing, moving the whole page while zoomed out could be handled better. Instead of some kind of "free flow" which is implemented now, more practical way of controlling would be by dragging the whole page.
Incredibly good tool for various types of Activity diagrams, flowcharts and even timelines.

Whether you are a student or you work in a big corporate team, this software offers dozens of diagram types, hundreds of objects to select from and it it really doesn't cost much . I love how it manipulates shapes/objects and connections thus saving you time by not forcing you to manually adjust every item. The objects looks nice and you can create some really professional diagrams. Free version offers 60 objects per diagram which is fair enough. It has predefined themes if you are in a rush and you don’t have enough time to play with colors and effects. This is my favorite diagram tool.

Text manipulation of the diagram object is somewhat cumbersome and not precise.

Lucidchart started with a smaller group at our organization and will be rolling out to all in 2022. On the Revenue Enablement team, we use it for current and future org chart planning, to outline responsibilities, and a way to identify gaps. We also work closely with other departments to deliver training and enablement on process documentation. Lucidchart makes it very easy to outline a complex process quickly and efficiently. As we scale as a company we are able to use Lucidchart to build out foundation charts that are easily updated as things change and grow with just a few clicks.
  • Collaboration ease between team member and other departments.
  • Tabs to create many pages off a master chart.
  • Pre-build templates to build from quickly.
  • Desktop Application.
  • Translate options.
We have been able to build our scrum-like sprints for my team to use for understanding priorities, what was not completed and a place to connect without having to always set up a meeting or zoom in to collaborate on high ticket tasks. We also have been able to use this chart to share with other teams for them to have visibility into what we are focusing on with ease and transparency. This has been ideal with a global extended team as it can be difficult to get everyone to be able to connect at one time.

We use Lucidchart to draw flow charts, organizational charts, mind maps, floor maps, and for those users who do not prefer to use Visio within various departments. Lucidchart helps clear up confusion for those who traditionally used PowerPoint or other products to create charts, maps and flow charts. It improved the workflow and communication.
  • Visually appealing
  • Create more robust graphics
  • Abundance of features
  • Documentation and tool tips
  • Limited features
  • Connector lines cause issues at times
Our project management team isn't very technical and they are responsible for projects that need to enhance processes, and Lucidchart has made it much easier for them over using Visio. It is well suited for those who find Visio difficult to use and the best part is that you can import Visio diagrams in quite easily without any issues. It allows the project management team focus on larger things while spending very less time on creating diagrams.
